Regular Council Meeting <br />1-22-01 <br />Page 7 <br />promotional things that tie in with what we are doing.... He thinks this may be the key to <br />reducing costs without reducing the quality of the publication. The volunteer members fe <br />strongly about keeping the format of the current brochure; they like having everything con <br />into one brochure. <br />Sewer Liaison Committee - Mr. Buckholtz said there was no report. A meeting will be <br />planned for late February or early March. <br />SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />lt <br />densed <br />S.O.M. Center Road Widening Working Comanittee - Mr. Ilacqua said there will be a S.O.M. <br />Center Road Widening Committee meeting on January 30fl, at 7:30 p.m. in the Community <br />Room. They are still discussing various design features, the Aintree North entranceway and <br />utility poles on either side of Wildwood that will be affected by changing the intersection. The <br />committee is working with URS to look at potential drainage issues that may arise as a result of <br />widening S.O.M. Center. <br />Drainage & Infrastructure Committee - Mrs. Cinco said they met January 4 but it wasn't a <br />long meeting because the weather did not cooperate with any engineering being done. They plan <br />to meet February 1St at 12:15 at the Service Building. <br />Mr. Samac said we haven't been able to do anything because of the weather. <br />Mrs. Cinco said she thinks this [committee] is bringing a lot of issues before the Village and that <br />Council is now aware of the effect of S.O.M. and how everything comes together. <br />OLD BUsINESS Third Reading of Itesolution No. 2000-21, entitled; "A resolution imploring the Ohio State <br />Assembly to impose mandatory deregulation guidelines against natural gas companies in the <br />State of Ohio." Introduced by Dr. Stephan Parker. (First Reading 12/18/00; Second Reading <br />12/19/00) <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Ilacqua, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2000-21. <br />Council President Marquardt asked if there were any comments. <br />Dr. Parker said he thinks this is a good move. There is a lot of concern on the impact on our <br />communities. He appreciates Council's support in moving ahead to try to represent our <br />communities. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted
