Regular Council Meeting <br />May 21, 2001 <br />Page 14 <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Ilacqua, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2001-09. <br />Council President Marquardt asked Mr. Brett to explain and if there was any discussion. <br />Mr. Brett said this would allow employees to participate in a supplemental life insurance plan <br />offered through AFLAC through payroll deduction. <br />Council President Marquardt asked if there was any cost to the Village. <br />Mr. Brett said no. <br />There were no further comments. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />First Readim of Oxdinance Noo 2001-10, An emergency ordinance authorizing a second <br />deferred compensation plan for Village employees with the variable Annuity Life Insurance <br />Company." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Ilacqua, seconded by Nlrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring <br />an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Ilacqua, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2001-10. <br />Mr. Brett said this is a second deferred compensation plan for employees that would like to take <br />advantage of that. I sent out a memo explaining it. <br />Council President Marquardt asked if there is any cost to the Village and if there were any <br />further comments. <br />Mr. Brett said none. <br /> <br /> <br />There were no further comments. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />
