? Regular Council Meeting
11-19-01
Page 3
works. I have a meeting set up with the East Ohio Gas representatives for November 26 to look
for locations.
Mayor Rinker said last year, there were two representatives here from East Ohio Gas. They
indicated to us that they were looking for a deadline commitment of November 1 S` at that time.
Mr. Sullivan said they had a meeting set and the drop dead date was November 1 St because they
had contractors available.
Mr. Sullivan said another problem is that you have to pull up quite a ways toward the street to
see, it is a hazard and it doesn't look good in the front of Hanover Woods.
Mayor Rinker said you have a lot of good reasons why it is preferable to move it. Our first order
of business is to figure out what will it take to move it. (That means a location, etc.)
Mr. Sullivan said I hope we don't have to rely upon some automatic shut-off which may or may
not work.
Mayor Rinker said that is what gas pumps have.
Dr. Parker said things can happen but the positive thing is that they are open to what we are
requesting. I think we have to work with them and move ahead and make sure it happens.
Mr. Sullivan thanked Mayor Rinker and Council for their time.
Council President Marquardt asked if there were any other comments.
There were no comments.
CONSIDBRATION OF MINUTES
Regular Council Meeting - October 15, 2001 - Mr. Busa, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion
to approve the minutes.
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS: None Motion Carried
Minutes Approved
CQMMENTS FROM MAYOR RINKER
Mayor Rinker said one of the items on tonight's agenda is for Council to approve the
appointment of Eric Jochum to the Ordinance Review Committee. He had provided a memo to
Council. He thinks it will be good to have someone with a legal background on the committee.
Eric will replace Tom Repicky (who was also an attorney.)
