12-17-01 <br />Page 2 <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br />Regular Council Meeting - November 19, 2001 - Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a <br />motion to approve the minutes. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />COMMENTS FROM MAYOR RINKER <br />Mayor Rinker said he would like to bring to everyone's attention a fellow Mayor of some <br />longstanding, Leonard Creary [of Lyndhurst], recently retired from office. We felt it would be <br />appropriate to recognize Mayor Creary. Mayor Rinker said he has prepared a Proclamation <br />which Council members are welcome to look at. Mayor Rinker said he thought that given <br />Mayor Creary's tenure, his involvement in the SPAN communities especially, a part of the <br />jurisdiction of the Lyndhurst Municipal Court and as a friend and a neighbor that it would be <br />nice for us to recognize him. We will provide this Proclamation to him at his residence. <br />Council President Marquardt said he would like to entertain a motion to amend the agenda to <br />consider Resolution 2001-08. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Buckholtz, made a motion to amend the agenda to consider <br />Resolution 2001-08. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Agenda Amended <br />Resolution No. 2001-08, entitled; "A Resolution of Commendation to Vince J. Busa," <br />Introduced by Mayar Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Ilacqua, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2001-08. <br />Council President Marquardt asked if there were any comments. <br />There were no comments. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Mr. Buckholtz, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ilacqua, Council President Marquardt, <br />Mrs. Mills, Dr. Parker <br />NAYS: None <br />ABSTAIN: Mr. Busa Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Council President Marquardt read the resolution and asked Mr. Busa to come up to accept the <br />resolution plaque.
