1-28-02
Page 3
Finance - Mr. Brett said we have received word from the Small Governments Fund of Issue 2,
the District One Public Works Integrating Committee, that both the Meadwood/Eastgate sewer
replacement project and the Worton Park waterline project are in the running for Small
Government funding. I will go down on Thursday to the Planning Commission and make a case
for those 2 projects. Right now, they are currently 3rd and 4'h on the list out of about 12 projects.
I do not know what the final outcome is but I guess it is not over yet.
Mr. Buckholtz asked if there is a cap on the funding on that.
Mr. Brett said I do not know.
Police - Chief Stevens said no report; however, we remain on a heightened state of alert.
Parks & Recreation - Mr. Thomas said the Spring/Summer Parks & Recreation Brochure for
2002 is at the printer. It will be mailed to all residents approximately February 6.
STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS
Activities Committee - Mrs. Roman said the Activities Committee will be meeting this coming
Wednesday instead of the first week in February.
