1-28-02
Page 9
Christine Casey
Diane Catalano
Mary Alice Chandramouli
Laura Lynch
Jill Pappenhagen
Mary Peto
Debbie Thomas
Mayor Rinker administered the oath of office to:
Ron Dinardo Architectural Review Board
Mayor Rinker said Ron Dinardo is a new member of the Architectural Review Board (renewing his
position.) Architectural Review Board meets on a periodic basis and deals with a lot of the structural
issues, home owners who are adding to homes, who want to add a swimming pool, dealing with
fencing and a variety of structural issues--these are people who spend a lot of time donating their
expertise so that our community looks good and stays sound. We appreciate the involvement of the
A.R.B.
Mayor Rinker administered the oath of office to:
William Russ Board of Appeals
Mayor Rinker said the Board of Appeals has the very important function of dealing with specific
requests from people that are looking for any variances from the zoning code. A lot of times either
due to some hardship or practical difficulty, people have to demonstrate to the satisfaction of the
members of the Board of Appeals the basis for their request. It is an important task because these
individuals have to look to the long term, they have to look to maintain a balance within the
community and applying the letter as well as the spirit of the law.
Mayor Rinker administered oaths of office to the members of the Citizen's Advisory Committee who
were present:
Joan Catalano
Shirley Jay
Eric Jochum
Carole Marrie
James Mason
Jeffrey Schiemann
Mayor Rinker said Citizen's Advisory Committee is kind of an ombudsman group that helps to be
something of a gadfly, a sounding board for the various organizations both from the administrative
view and from Council's view and throughout the community they help to offer a little additional
insight, a little bit different perspective. I think it's the commitment to maintaining the quality of
our community that always motivates these people to be involved. We always appreciate your
involvement.
