Regular Council Meeting <br />4-22-02 <br />Page 5 <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Marrie said they met on April 17. The Easter Party was evaluated; the <br />egg hunt was a success. The Debbie Hudacko Run is all set up for Sunday, July 7; they are <br />working on the summer camps. The next activity will be the 4th of July activity [on July 6.] <br />They are going to have a Girls Sand Volleyball for the 6th to 8th graders who are new at it. They <br />will go all summer long. <br />Sewer Liaison Committee - Mr. Buckholtz said there was no report. <br />SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />S.O.M. Center Road Widening Working Committee - Mr. Ilacqua said the Committee will <br />meet May 22 at 7 p.m. We should have an in-depth update on the right-of-way acquisition <br />process. I have spoken to residents up and down S.O.M. the past few weeks about what is going <br />on. I spoke with Mark Burson as well. He is still moving through the right-of-way acquisition <br />process. Some projects will come up and change orders will be necessary; we can probably <br />anticipate more of that over the next couple of years. Mr. Ilacqua asked if Mr. Metzung had any <br />update. <br />Mr. Metzung said he, Mr. Brett and members of our engineering team met with the State of <br />Ohio; they had concerns about where we are on our timetable. We discussed where we are at <br />and where we are going and everyone was pretty comfortable when we left the meeting. We <br />have had several meetings with the utility companies in the last couple of weeks. We are moving <br />Mr. Metzung will see if they can provide it for the May 22 meeting. <br />forward in those areas of the actual production of building a road. <br />Mr. Ilacqua said one of the items we discussed at the previous S.O.M. meeting was pulling <br />together some visual aids as to what the final S.O.M. Center Road is going to look like (those <br />presentation boards.) He asked if Mr. Metzung talked about that with URS--or if it is premature <br />for that. <br />OLD BUSINESS ' <br />Second Readiniz and amendment of Ordinance No. 2002- 07; entitled, "An emergency <br />ordinance amending Section 1157.07 relative to parking of commercial vehicles in residential <br />neighborhoods." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. (First Reading 3/18/02) <br />Assistant Law Director Tom Hanculak explained that a new section was requested (Section 2) so <br />a motion to amend the ordinance is necessary. Mr. Hanculak said the amendment was to add <br />that the ordinance will become enforceable on July lst, 2002. <br />Mr. Marquardt, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to amend Ordinance No. 2002-07 to add <br />the enforcement date of July 1 St, 2002 to the existing updated ordinance.
