Regular Council Meeting
6-17-02
Page 28
Mr. Thomas said I would like them to start no later than 2 weeks after the pool closes:
Dr. Parker requested getting that in writing. We want to avoid bad weather and having this done at a
compromise.
Council President Buckholtz asked if it is a 4-year unconditional warranty.
Mr. Thomas replied correct. I would anticipate that we would do the work sometime between
September 15 and complete it no later than October 10.
Ms. Calta cited the information from Plastall: Construction will begin not within 30 days of the pool
closing date (August 25, 2002) and complete it within 42 days, weather permitting. She clarified that
it will be continuous until completed in its entirety within 42 days--so it is 42 days from the date of
closing.
Council figured that it should be completed around October 10th.
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS: None
Motion Carried
Ordinance Enacted
First Reading of Resolution No. 2002-11 entitled; "A Resolution authorizing the Mayor and
Director of Finance to seek fmancial assistance from the State of Ohio Department of Natural
Resources for funding for public recreational purposes."
