Regular Council Meeting 9-23-02 Page 8 Architectural Review Board - Mr. Samac said the A.R.B. met on September 12th. There were three additions to single family homes, and one addition to an attached garage. Board of Appeals - Mr. Samac said we had a meeting on September 17`h. A side yard variance was granted to a resident on Ridgebury Blvd to enable him to construct a 2 car attached garage to his dwelling along with an addition upstairs. There was a parking variance granted for a business on Wilson Mills Road. Cemetery -Mrs. Mills said the Horticulture students have started to do their work at the cemetery, and they were at the Historical House also today. I booked a Discovery Tour for October 30th. They're going to tour a Mentor Cemetery, our Cemetery, Lakeview Cemetery and Erie Street Cemetery. We're going to have about 35 to 40 people on this tour. Citizen's Advisory Board -Mrs. Cinco said there is a meeting scheduled for this Monday at 7:15. Commission on Aging -Mrs. Mills said this report is from Eunice Kalina: Donna Roman t and I attended the TC-3 meeting August 28 to learn more about this transportation program for seniors. It was most informative, and we are hopeful that perhaps Mayfield Village will be able to become part of something like this. We will let them know that we are very interested in this. Our trip to the Portage Lakes was last Wednesday. It was a lovely event although there were some last minute changes that had not been anticipated. We are looking forward to the next trip which is Wednesday, December 18 to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular featuring the Rockettes at the State Theatre. Our flu shots will be administered Monday, October 28 from 9 to 11 a.m. Pre-registration sessions are Friday, October 4 from 9 to 11 a.m. and Monday, October 7 from 1 to 3 p.m. All of these sessions take place in the Community Room. Bring your Medicare card with you if you have it. Mayor Rinker asked if the dates were on the marquee. Mrs. Mills said yes they are. Drainage & Infrastructure Committee -Mrs. Cinco said D & I did not meet this month. We are awaiting approval by the various residents as to their input into the projects. At this time, I'd like to bring up the Storm Water Task Force. I know that a letter was sent to Council and to Council President Buckholtz from Mr. Metzung asking that the Storm Water Task Force Committee be put on the D & I Committee. These are things that we will have to be meeting with in the next few weeks. Do you have any more information on that Doug?
