Regular Council Meeting
10-21-02
Page 11
Council President Buckholtz said okay, that is my call. Well let me ask Council first. If they are
withdrawing...if my understanding is correct, Joe, just help me with one more thing, if they're
withdrawing the appeal we really have nothing on the agenda.
Mr. Diemert replied, there will be nothing you will vote on tonight.
Council President Buckholtz said there is nothing on the agenda; we technically have nothing to
discuss tonight, as a body. So, I'd like to make that clear to the room. By withdrawing the
motion, we have nothing to discuss. So, Mayor?
Mayor Rinker said you [Mr. Jiannetti] provided this handout and somebody made a bunch of
these-how many of these do we have?
Mr. Jiannetti said I passed them out. I don't know if the audience got them or not. I think about
25 made it out there.
Council President Buckholtz said we can get copies for everybody. It is what these folks, and
sure I will accept comments from the audience, but it's what they wanted to present directly to
the residents so it might be something you will want to take with you and read and it is
something we can discuss at the residents' meeting. And you know, but ...well, then why don't
we...well, thank you, at this point and you are certainly, if it warrants, you are welcome to make
more comments. Why don't we open.it up to the floor because I did promise the open portion,
so why don't we have the open portion and invite people who may like to speak. Please
approach the microphone. We are going to get some more copies while we do this portion so
everyone can have one. Please state your name and address clearly in the microphone and let it
rip.
(Note: A copy of the information from Golden Gate Beverage copied for residents is attached to
the minutes for reference.)
Susan Chiccone, 6775 Walnut Drive - I am just curious. Has title transferred and you've
purchased the property?
Mr. Jiannetti said yes, m'am.
Ms. Chiccone said you do have ownership of that property.
Mr. Jiannetti said yes, m'am.
Ms. Chiccone said that's all I needed to know.
Kathy Winteregg, 6768 Meadowood Drive- said I would like to ask, will there be--on this new
plan of yours, will there be parking in the front?
Mr. Jiannetti said I think a lot of that depends on whether the Village code allows it. Bernie?
Well, I guess...
