Regular Council Meeting
10-21-02
Page 20
T„
~ Council President Buckholtz said thank you very much and asked, additional comments?
Jim Klements 66 4 ~
8 Seneca, do you own the property.
Mr. Steigerwald replied yes I do.
Mr. Klements said I am adjacent to the property. One of the things that you didn't mention on
your list-I think both those buildings are a potential fire hazard as well as a skunk and a
raccoon haven. You can watch them go in and out of there on rubbish evening and rubbish
morning. I think anything we can do to clean those up will help.
Mr. Steigerwald said they are coming down soon; as soon as we get the plans.
Council President Buckholtz said thank you. Any comments that we haven't heard so far?
Dr. Parker said Mr. Buckholtz; I just wanted to say that Mr. Marquardt's comment is taken. And
I think the intention was to not imply that anything is a done deal until things are finally decided
so, you know, I just wanted to-I agree with what you are saying-I just want to clarify that
again. Also, I would just say-and what I've tried to tell people because I have had people call
me and ask me is this going to be on the agenda or isn't it-and the answer that I've been telling
_ people is that well, it mayor it could beremoved-but the important thing is for concerned
~. citizens to come to our meetings. This is a time when, you know, if you have a concern or if you
want to be heard-you are going to need to come to meetings because things can be brought up
and changed. And there is an Open Portion and I would encourage people to utilize that to their
benefit or not. So, I am just saying that you just need to come. I mean, that's what we've told
people. There may not be anything for you to say at that time but there maybe. Thank you.
Council President Buckholtz said thank you, Dr. Parker. Next item.
• A motion to authorize a Special Use Permit for Lakeshore Dance and Gymnastics,
Inc., 761 Beta Drive, fora 2-year period
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to authorize a Special Use Permit for
Lakeshore Dance and Gymnastics, Inc., 761 Beta Drive, fora 2-year period.
Council President Buckholtz asked, discussion?
There were no comments.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All
NAYS: None
Motion Carried
Special Use Permit Authorized

1
* A motion to authorize the renewal of a Special Use Permit for Ken's Auto, 744 S.O.1VI.
Center Road, fora 2-year period (expires 11-15-02.)
