Regular Council Meeting
10-21-02
Page 26
Dr. Parker said we need to make one change also to that which is just McDonald Equipment
Company. I kind of left it off because I didn't know the exact amount that would be distribute
but, Bernie, do you want to comment on that? I kind of left it without an exact person or
company.
Mr. Samac explained the way things sort of shook out on the quotes that we received for the 20k
unit, the low bidder at $15,018 was Buckeye Power. The low quote for the 30kw unit is $16,567
from McDonald Equipment Company for the 30kw unit. Do we need to revote this?
Mr. Diemert said no.
Council President Buckholtz said okay, thank you.
• A motion to authorize an expenditure in an amount not to exceed $30,000 to bring the
Community Room restroom facilities in compliance with ADA requirements
Mr. Marrie, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in an amount not
to exceed $30,000 to bring the Community Room restroom facilities in compliance with ADA
requirements.
Council President Buckholtz asked, discussion?
Council President Buckholtz said I have discussion. I know that we've talked about this and this
needs to be done. I just maybe--I've missed something along the way. I was glad when you
used the word unorthodox in the second paragraph there, Bernie, because it was like I was like a
