Regular Council Meeting 10-21-02 Page 28 Mr. Samac said no, but keep in mind, Mr. President, for the last year we went out for formal bids to have this work done and we put such a tight window on it that we got ridiculous bids. The low bid was for like 28 or $29,000 and it only comprised of about 2/3 of the amount of work that we are asking to be done now. It did not include the new floor in each of the toilet facilities at all-(anew the floor which is a considerable expense but I think it is needed. Council President Buckholtz said I will leave it to the will of Council. Everybody okay with this procedure? A couple of people said no problem and there were no additional comments. Council President Buckholtz said this is to enhance the dead zone for our security forces and the tower. Council President Buckholtz asked, any other discussion? There were no comments.
