Special Meeting Minutes
12-30-02
.~ Page 3
~,
Ms. Calta said it's still part of the ordinance for purposes of keeping everything uniform. If there
would be some reason that we would need to file the appropriation, the ordinance is already in
place that we could---
Mr. Brett said but you would still file the appropriation tomorrow.
Ms. Calta said we're hoping to get that back; I mean it should've been back--
Mr. Brett said but if we don't get it, we will be filing this tomorrow.
Ms. Calta said we can do that.
Mayor Rinker said well and I should add, because something that came to light and I talked with
Diane today-now apparently--and between Diane and Gerard you can be anymore specific--
and correct me if I am wrong but basically O.D.O.T. gets a report from Mike Burgess. Mike
Burgess has to compile the report, prepare it, send it. Literally the period of time that that may
take may occupy a few days, so some of these where we feel that where they're being
circulated-a few of these properties where we basically have the agreement but it just has to be
consummated-we may be able to benefit from not even having to file on some of those; that
. was my understanding of,that. For example, it might not be until Friday. But in all other
respects we are definitely doing it so we say by calendar year we've met this-so that when
Mike does his reporting, he ean say these are the ones that we've signed up on and these are the
ones that we've filed petitions on.
Council President Buckholtz said okay, so the fewest number of parcels will be on the actual list
that gets filed. We have signed agreements.
Mayor Rinker said but because it is in play and because it's important to demonstrate we get this
thing moving, there are actually going to be more on the amended ordinance than we will be
filing.
Council President Buckholtz said now Musca is still on the ordinance but we have a verbal
agreement and we are waiting for a signed document but they will remain on the ordinance.
Ms. Calta said correct.
Council President Buckholtz said all right; next.
Ms. Calta said Linkas is going to be filed. Krenzler is going to be filed.
Mr. Riter asked what about Falkner?
Ms. Calta said Falkner signed.
Mr. Riter and Mrs. Mills said so that's off.
