Widening Project.
j That should pretty well take care of all the---
Mr. Brett said yes, I think so.
Mrs. Mills said another motion to authorize Mayor and Council President to enter into a
partnership agreement with Euclid Creek Watershed Council for membership.
Council President Buckholtz said excuse me. Do we recommended approval on those?
Mrs. Mills said we are recommending approval on a11 of these things. A motion to authorize an
expenditure in the amount of $2,500 to the Cuyahoga Soil and Water Conservation District for
the 2003 appropriation for the Watershed Coordinator. And that's recommended also. A motion
to authorize the transfer of the snow removal from Frank Gibson authorized by motion on
September 9, 2002 for two sections $199.50 per driveway to DuraMark, Inc. That's a mere
corporation change. And that was recommended for approval. A motion to authorize an
expenditure not to exceed $127,000 to the Horton Emergency Vehicle Corporation through the
State of Ohio Group Purchasing Agreement for the purchase of one 2003 ambulance; Gates Mills
sharing costs 50%. Mrs. Mills addressed Chief Mohr and asked, Chief, would you like to
explain that?
? Chief Mohr said that is replacing the 13-year-old ambulance that is just wearing out. So, it's part
- ? of the State Cooperative. We can save $500 by buying it off of state bid. It's time to replace it.
? It's part of the Master Plan so it's time to do it.
Mrs. Mills said and explain once we have the new unit up and working we will be putting the old
unit up for sale.
Chief Mohr said correct.
Council President Buckholtz said excuse me. Of the $127,000, 50% of that will be reimbursed?
Chief Mohr said that is correct.
Mrs. Mills said our cost will be $63,500. That was recommended for approval. A motion to
authorize an expenditure not to exceed $3,460.08 to Lake County Sheriff for the December
billings. The Village will be reimbursed for the expense by Cuyahoga County. Lt. Dearden,
would you like to explain that?
Lt. Dearden said sure. That's just because of jail sentencing for misdemeanors, Cuyahoga
County jails cannot facilitate holding those prisoners; therefore, we're required to make
arrangements either with Lake County Jail or another jail facility that can hold them. Whatever
cost we incur is reimbursed by Cuyahoga County so we just bill them back for whatever it costs.
?
-T .
L
Mrs. Mills said thank you. We have another motion not to exceed $24,280 to Cuyahoga
`J -? Regional Information Systems and that was recommended for ap.proval. And another motion for
