Special Council Meeting
2-24-03
Page 13
? piece of property for beneficial uses then it would have to either be remodeled or demolished. And I
think we have to be a little bit caxeful---
Council President Buckholtz said or moved.
Mrs. Mills said you don't want to move that liouse. It'd cost you too much money. That's a big
house. That's a 2-family house.
Council President Buckholtz said it's only made of stone.
Mrs. Mills asked, where are you going to move it?
Council President Buckholtz said I like that house. It's beautiful.
Someone joked to Worton Park. Right on the corner where we got rid of those 2 houses.
Council President Buckholtz said I like the way you think.
Mrs. Mills said but I would like to see some better words in there just to give the Village a type of
escape clause, if you want to call it that, to have something like... I know what Mr. Zako is trying to
do. He likes that house. Well that's fine and dandy but there comes a time when it is not a usable
? commodity in the world.
Council President Buckholtz said well maybe---well can we do something? I mean certainly with a
-time frame. I mean I don't see anything happening with that.
Mrs. Mills said I think once Mr. Zako moves on, which he already has his master plan going in his
mind, maybe within a period of maybe 5 years or so, his whole attitude toward this, after he sees the
development, would recognize the.fact that maybe the house is* not what he thought it was going to
be. Mayor Rinker said if I can. I don't suspect there's a huge problem with that but it's a sensitive issue
and....
Mrs. Mills said I know it is.
Mayor Rinker said these are comments that I didn't really anticipate.
Mrs. Cinco no I agree with this issue and I agree with Bill Riter and Mrs. Mills. My question is what
is the condition of the house presently. Is someone living in it presently?
Mrs. Mills said oh, yeah.
Mrs. Cinco said and what our intentions are.
i.
i
Mayor Rinker and Mr. Brett said living on a113-4 floors.
