Regular Council Meeting <br />4-21-03 <br />Page 14 <br />OrdinanceNo. 2003-12 was given first reading. <br />First Readinst of Ordinance 2003-13, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing the <br />Mayor to enter into a purchase agreement with Edward R. Falkner, Inc. as and for the <br />acquisition of real estate located at 710 S.O.M. Center Road and referred to as parcel3." <br />Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Councff as a Whole. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-13 was given first reading. <br />First Readin2 of Ordinance 2003-14, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing the <br />Mayor to enter into a purchase agreement with Kenneth E. Zako as and for the acquisition of <br />real estate located at 470 S.O.M. Center Road." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and'Council as <br />a Whole. Dr. Parker, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2003-14. <br />There were no comments. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />OPEN PORTION - 3-minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state <br />their name and address. This open portion is limited to discussion pertaining to the items under <br />"New Business" only. <br />There were no comments. <br />ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL <br />There were no other matters before Council. <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />Mr. Marquardt asked, has there been any discussion on the offer of the use of the property on <br />S.O.M. for a possible police outpost during the S.O.M. construction? <br />Council President Buckholtz asked, could we have somebody to contact?
