Regular Council Meeting •
5-19-03
Page 12
I said at the Caucus Meeting-I just thanked everybody's comments; we had an excellent meeting
and I though everybody represented themselves very well and how we're going to vote goes once
again-we do our best to work with everybody and come out with a win-win situation as Mr. Riter
said. We are voting on these individually so we will take #1 which is:
1. Section 1173.05 Front parking setback (100' required; 62' shown - so the total
variance granted would be for a 38' setback)
Council President Buckholtz asked, do we need further description at this point-or does everybody
have a clear understanding of which one that is? There were no comments so Council President
Buckholtz said we'll go with a roll call (remembering that a yes vote ratifies or affirms the variance
and a no vote denies the variance and modification to change the variance.
ROLL CALL: AYES: Mr. Buckholtz, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Marrie, Mrs. Mills,
Dr. Parker and Mr. Riter
NAYS: Mr. Marquardt
Motion Carried
Variance Affirmed
2.
¦ Section 1173.05 side-yard parking setback to the east. (60' required. 23' shown -
the Variance granted for 371)
¦ Side-yard parking setback to the north. (60' required. 30' shown. Variance
granted for the 301)
Council President Buckholtz said that east setback is the one we are granting a 37'
variance but it only actually moves 7' from where it is now, I believe. (Someone said
correct.) Council President Buckholtz asked, any fiuther comments? There were no
comments so Council President Buckholtz requested a roll call.
ROLL CALL: AYES: Mr. Buckholtz, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Marrie and Mrs. Mills
NAYS: Mr. Marquardt, Dr. Parker and Mr. Riter
Motion Carried ???
3. Section 1173.05 - Building side yard setback east. (100' required. 78' shown. Variance
granted for 221)
- Building side-yard setback to the north. (100' required. 30' shown. Variance granted for
70'.)
Council President Buckholtz asked if there were any comments. There being none, he requested a
roll call.
