Regular Council Meeting <br />5-19-03 <br />Page 5 <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Marrie said our next meeting will be Thursday. (He will report after <br />that meeting.) <br />Sewer Liaison Committee - Council President Buckholtz said no report at this time. <br />Stormwater Mst./Drainage & Infrastructure - Mrs. Cinco said Drainage & Infrastructure met <br />on May 2-that was our organizational meeting for the year for starting spring projects. Two <br />projects were discussed. One fits into the parameter of our committee; the other does not. Since <br />then Council has received a number of requests. They have passed them on to me; I've made <br />some phone calls. All requests must be in writing to myself or Mr. Metzung. Our next meeting <br />is June 9 at 8 a.m. <br />SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />S.O.M. Center Road Widening Workins Committee - Mrs. Mills said Mr. Metzung gave the <br />report. Bids will be opened on May 23. Hopefully we will get some good prices on this project. <br />Wage Negotiations Committee - Dr. Parker said the committee will be meeting May 28 with <br />our legal representative. <br />2020 Vision Committee - Mr. Marquardt said the meeting will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. here in <br />the Community Room to present their initial findings. <br />Second Reading and motion to amend Ordinance No. 2003-11, entitled; "An emergency <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a purchase agreement with Edward R. <br />Falkner, as Trustee of the Edward R. Falkner Trust dated October 7, 1991, as and for the <br />acquisition of a part of the real estate located at 710 S.O.M. Center Road, referred to as <br />Parcel l." (First Reading April 21, 2003) <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2003-11. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked for discussion. <br />Mr. Brett explained this parcel in particular is the one which we received the $80,000 grant from <br />Issue One which brings the effective price down to $100,000. There remains another parcel that
