These files can be easily viewed by <br />launclung their native application from witlvn LaserFiche. <br />Security <br />LaserFiche's security system provides foY system "feature rights" that goveYn users' global access to <br />system functions, including viewing annotations, as well as "object rights" to specific documents or <br />foldeis. The system adininistrator can specify exacdy what each user can do with any document on <br />the system. FLUthermore, by allowing for the inheritance of rights via usex groups and parent <br />folders, the system administrator can gieatly sunplify the assignxnent of Yights. Adtniilistratois can <br />also use Yedaction to keep specific infoYmation confidential. <br />LASERFICHE SNAPSHOT UTILITY <br />LaserFiche Snapshot enables users to "print" files geneYated by any Windows application (such as <br />MS Excel, MS WoYd, AutoCAD, etc.) diYectly to LaserFiche for axchiving, storing and Yetrieving. <br />The "imaging" process retains all formatting and geneYates an associated ASCII text file captuYed <br />from the native application. This file can be used for full-text indexing of the document.
