Tentatively, this Thursday or Friday we plan on preparing Wilson Mills so it is paved
and done.
Council President Saponaro asked, so a good repair, not the temporary?
Mr. Cappello replied, yes. The watermain on Robley passed last week. Today they began doing
the water connections. Thornapple's water connections are approximately 80% complete. There
was a portion they had tested prior which passed and connections were made. There's a second
section wluch is west of Meadowood which the first sample passed and hopefully tomorrow we
will get the approval and do the last 6 connections on that. Once the water connections are all
done, then the roadwork will begin. Hopefully that would be by the week of the 291". They will
remove approximately 9 inches of the existing pavement, grade it and then put back asphalt and
then start work on tlie drive aprons. The asphalt will be installed minus the surface cores until all
of the aprons are done. The surface cores will be applied and then site restoration. We will
probably come back in the Spring to finish tweaking the actual site restoration. You need the
grass to grow and those items, but hopefully by the end of November we will be done with that
project, at least the majority of it.
Council President Saponaro asked, one of the concerns is the ainount of mud in people's yards
and houses being tracked in in the wintertime. Are we going to try to do what we can to alleviate
tllat pai•t?
\4r. Cappello replied, correct. 1 hey will be mulched. You Nvi11 have a brand ne`v roadwa},. The
aprons will be done.
