Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, February 19, 2018 <br />Page 23 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />• First Readin2 of Ordinance No. 2018-08, entitled, "An Emergency Ordinance <br />establishing the Parkview Recreation Complex Wages for the 2018 Season." Introduced <br />by Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole. (Recreation Department) <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2018-08. <br />Council President Saponaro asked, discussion? <br />There was none. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />• First Reading of Ordinance No. 2018-09, entitled, "An Emergency Ordinance <br />determining to proceed with the improvement of Robley Lane, Thornapple Drive and <br />Wilson Mills Road between certain termini by constructing sanitary sewers; sanitary <br />sewer service connections and manholes, installing, where necessary, force mains and <br />storm sewers and replacing where necessary, pavement and driveway aprons, altogether <br />with the necessary appurtenances thereto." Introduced by Mayor Bodnar and Council as <br />a Whole. (Law Department) <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Council President Saponaro asked, is this a timing issue? <br />Mr. Wynne replied, yes it is a timing issue. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Meyers, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2018-09. <br />Council President Saponaro asked, discussion? <br />Mr. Wynne reported, in January, Council passed a resolution of necessity for the sewer <br />project declaring the project necessary for the health and well-being of the residents of the <br />Village on Thornapple, Robley and Wilson Mills. After that Resolution was passed, we <br />sent out notices to the impacted residents via Certified Mail, Return Receipt Requested.
