Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council
Monday, June 18, 2018
Page 16
Council President Saponaro stated, okay, so we have a little liit of time. Sometimes the school
year starts July 1 st. I didn't know if that was what you were talking about. August,14t1'; okay:
So we need to address this obviously with the timing issue and get this underway. But I think we
have to have tlie Menlorandum in place and at the same time do the motion to change the budget
to allow for this full-time SRO officer. Make sense?
Mr. Coyne replied, yes.
Council President Saponaro stated, okay. Thank you.
Committee Renorts:
Citizen's Advisory - Mrs. Mills = Our last meeting was May 29ih. We had a very short meeting
and adjourned to the Town Hall meeting which was very informative. I would like to thank
Mary Singer and George Williams for their work for the Memorial Day Ceremony. It's always a
nice affair. Flag retirement went over very well last Thursday. We retired 600 flags this year. It
was very good. I have given Ms. Wolgamuth the pictures so maybe we can get at least one in the
Voice of the Village. It's a very good ceremony. Keep saving those flags. We need those flags..
Council President Saponaxo asked, the box for the flags; there's one located here, are there any
other locations? :
Mrs. Mills replied, that's the only one.
Council President Saponaro stated, so tliere's a location here outside of Village Hall• where you
can put your fattered and used flags in.

lYlrs. Mills stated, either that or tfiey can bring them in here, riglit into the office. The other thing
is that one of our Garden Club members; Mary Solomon, was given a first place award at the
State Convention for the Garden Clubs of Ohio for her work in the butterfly gardens.
Council President Saponaro stated, fantastic.
Mrs: Mills stated, that was very very nice. Our next meeting is July 26th. We are going to meet
at the Community Room arid then adjourn to the Gazebo for the concert. '
Council President Saponaro stated; very good. Thank you. Anyone else want to report?.
There were no further Committee Reports.
