Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, March 18, 2019 <br />Page 4 <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS: <br />Diane Wolgamuth (Administration) — Thank you. Speaking of memorials, I provided Council <br />with a memo regarding a memorial bench sponsorship program that we are looking at. I <br />understand that some Council members have some comments and questions, so rather than try to <br />have that discussion this evening, we will just put that on the agenda for the Caucus next month. <br />Council President Saponaro stated, perfect. <br />Ms. Wolgamuth stated, thank you. <br />John Marrelli (Building) <br />Planning and Zoning — The 25 conditional use permits were recommended for approval <br />by the Planning Commission on March 4th. It's on your agenda under New Business. <br />Architectural Review Board — The Board met on the 14th for an addition on Wilson <br />Mills. <br />Council President Saponaro stated, very good. Thank you. <br />Mary Betsa (Council) — I received a notification from the Northeast Ohio City Council <br />Association that the meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 21' has added another speaker, <br />Brandon Cornuke from the Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network. Al Meyers will be <br />attending. If anyone else still wishes to attend, they are still taking reservations, just let me <br />know. <br />Records Commission — The Commission will be meeting on Tuesday, May 7th at 12:00. <br />A reminder that Shred Day is Saturday, May 18th. <br />Chief Carcioppolo (Fire) — Just real quick, I just wanted to let you know that as of yesterday, <br />we are about 23 calls ahead of where we were last year at this time. We offered a conditional job <br />offering for Assistant Chief to replace Assistant Chief Girbino when he retires. That is in the <br />works. I believe he will be sworn in on April 15' to start working and shadowing with Assistant <br />Chief Girbino before Mike leaves. <br />Council President Saponaro asked, when is he planning on leaving? <br />Chief Carcioppolo replied, his final day I believe is May 31St <br />Council President Saponaro stated, okay. Thank you. <br />Anthony J. Coyne (Law) - Just to report that the Board of Elections has assigned a number to <br />the election for the zoning amendment so we will be on the ballot as Issue 8. It shall read that <br />the zoning map of the Village of Mayfield be amended to change the zoning classification. It <br />identifies the specific permanent parcel numbers located on Highland Road for the current U 1 <br />single family residential district and/or the production distribution district to the planned <br />
