Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, April 15, 2019 <br />Page 7 <br />Comments from Council President Sanonaro <br />Council President Saponaro stated that at Council's May 6th Caucus, a Special Meeting will be <br />held immediately following for the purpose of discussing the results of the bid opening for the <br />2019 Road Maintenance Program. <br />OPEN PORTION <br />— For Public Comment (5 -minute limit imposed by Chair) <br />There was no discussion. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS: <br />John Marrelli (Building) <br />Architectural Review Board — The Board met last week. On the agenda was a new <br />home on SOM, an addition on Wilson Mills Road and an addition on Wildwood Trail. <br />Mary Betsa (Council) — Just a reminder that Caucus on May 6th will be held in Reserve Hall <br />due to the fact that the Board of Elections will be setting up for voting the next day in Civic Hall. <br />On the ballot is the proposed zoning amendment on Highland Road from the current U-1 single <br />family residential district and production -distribution district to the planned residential <br />development district. (Issue 8). <br />Records Commission — Most of the departments have revised and forwarded their <br />schedules to me for finalization. Diane and I met to go over them. I will be making the <br />revisions and submitting the finalized schedules to the department heads for their <br />signature. At the Commission's meeting on Tuesday, May 7th, the schedules will be <br />reviewed by the Commission. Upon obtaining signatures by the Commission, I will be <br />forwarding them to the Ohio Historical Society for review, submission to the Auditor of <br />State and return to me with notations of approval. <br />Shred Day — is scheduled for Saturday, May 18th from 9:00-12:00 at the Civic Center <br />parking lot. <br />Tom Cappello (Engineer) — I will be discussing the results of the bid opening for the 2019 <br />Road Program at Caucus on May 7th. Council will then be considering the award during a <br />Special Meeting immediately following Caucus. <br />Shane McAvinew (Parks and Recreation) <br />Commission on Aging — The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 23`d <br />Parks and Recreation —Tie next meeting is on Wednesday, April 17th commencing at <br />6:30 with subcommittees and 7:00 with Parks and Recreation. The Easter party this past <br />Saturday was a successful event. Thanks to the Fire Department for helping out with the <br />egg hunt. <br />Senior Services — On May 13th, Progressive will be doing a spring clean-up of seniors' <br />yards. Residents should contact Donna to enter into a drawing to have their yards <br />
