May 20. 2019 Page 11 • First Reading of Ordinance No. 2019-13, entitled, "An emergency Ordinance levying special assessments for the improvement of Robley Lane, Thornapple Drive and Wilson Mills Road between certain termini by constructing sanitary sewers, sanitary sewer service connections and manholes, installing where necessary, force mains and storm sewers, and replacing, where necessary, pavement and driveway aprons, altogether with the necessary appurtenances thereto." Introduced by Mayor Bodnar. (Finance Department) Mr. Wynne stated, this will be the final piece of legislation for the project. Now that the project is done, this gives us the authorization to send a letter to the 60 homeowners involved with the project making them aware of the $7,200 assessment which is the same amount assessed as the same project we did over 20 years ago. They will have the option to either pay the assessment in full or to finance it on their property taxes over 20 years. I would request that if Council so desires, to suspend this this evening and pass it. Council President Saponaro asked, so you are looking for a suspension? Mr. Wynne replied. yes. Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. Council President Saponaro asked, discussion?
