On Wednesday. the Grove Committee will meet at the Grove site at 6:30 to go
over the layout for 2019. There will be volunteers from the Board throughout the
summer. We will be talking about how we are going to handle the policies and
procedures with people coming into the facility.
Senior Services — The senior center had an Anniversary Party last Friday the 17th. It was
well attended. People had a really good time. In June, there will be a CPA Lunch `N
Movie on the 12th at 12:00. It's $5. There is also a luncheon and movie on the 19th at
12:30. That's also $5. Call Senior Services to schedule the Lunch and Movie at
Governor's Village and the CPA for the Lunch `N Movie here.
Douglas Metzung (Service) - We have begun our leaf mulch deliveries. We set a very
aggressive schedule trying to get it out before Memorial Day. We may actually meet that
because we are down as far as people signing up. If anyone needs their leaf mulch, call the
Service Department so we can get you on the list. It's beautiful product this year. Our summer
help has returned for this year. I want to commend the kids we have in our summer program this
year. We had the same group last year. It might be the best group I have ever had in the Village.
Council President Saponaro asked, are they coming from a program, or folks that you have
hired?
Mr. Metzung replied, that we have hired for the summer.
