Mr. Murphy asked, so it's not a brand-new motor and we don't get to keep the old one just in case? Mr. Meyers stated, it comes with a warranty. Chief Carcioppolo replied, it's remanufactured by Caterpillar. Mr. Meyers stated, all brand-new parts. Chief Carcioppolo stated, the price includes sending, we have to send back the old motor so that they can rebuild that one. Mr. Meyers stated, there's a core charge on it basically. Mr. Murphy asked, is there a warranty on this new remanufactured? Chief Carcioppolo replied, 12 months. Mr. Meyers asked, any mileage, just 12 months? Chief Carcioppolo replied, I don't know the mileage. We are not going to exceed the mileage part of it. It's just a time out thing for us. The only saving grace we have is we bought the other replacement squad last year so now we still have two squads on the road. If we approve this, they can order the motor and we should have it back in two weeks. But if we don't approve it, we are not going to have a squad that works. We have two but if one of them goes down, then we will be out again. Mr. Murphy asked, so you are saying we have two total, not two plus this? Chief Carcioppolo replied, we have two operational right now. One of them is a 2003 and the other one is the one we received last year. So, we have three total. We are doing good as long as one of the other ones doesn't have a problem. Mr. Murphy asked, there've been other issues with this one? Is it all motor -related? Chief Carcioppolo replied, it's all chassis related for the most part. All of the issues we have had come back to the chassis. Mr. Murphy stated, that doesn't make sense, this expenditure? Or do we look at alternative options? If we continue to have issues with it.
