Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council November 21, 2022 Page 4 Last, as the Mayor noted, we did start snow plow yesterday. It only snowed one inch at my house but by my phone it did snow a few inches up here. Overall it went well. There's always some bumps the first time. I think I took care of most of those bumps and most of those issues and made some changes. If you get any phone calls, there was a contractor outside of the program, it had nothing to do with the Mayfield Village program, but it was a contractor some of the residents chose this year. I am working with those residents to get them into our program and get their driveways plowed. Council President Schutt stated, thank you, Mr. McAvinew. Mr. Williams asked, Shane, what's the issue? Mr. McAvinew replied, briefly the issue was he didn't supply the services that they signed up for. Mr. Williams asked, they called you? Mr. McAvinew replied, yes, because as residents, they still need their driveway plowed in the long term and I had contractors available to switch them into the program. Mr. Williams replied, thank you. Council President Schutt asked, any other questions for Mr. McAvinew? There were none. Council President Schutt stated, thank you, Mr. McAvinew. COMMITTEE REPORTS Volunteer Fire Dependent's Fund Board Mrs. Betsa stated, the Fire Department received a Memorandum from me for elections. Voting officially concluded Monday, November 14th. Mike Girbino has agreed to serve. Chief Carcioppolo will be serving as well. John Michalko expressed an interest in being the resident representative. During the December meeting of the Board, that will have to be formally voted upon. In the meantime, I need two members of the legislative authority designated to serve on the Board. Council President Schutt asked, may I have nominations? Mr. Williams replied, I will volunteer.
