Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council Monday, June 16, 2025 Page 3 The last thing I wanted to mention is that our Finance Director Angie Rich and I attended the RITAXOG Annual Meeting today. They actually had four meetings today. This one was the Northeast Ohio region. It was pretty enlightening. I don't think that I have been to these before but right now they are doing a wonderful job. There are about 400 member communities. Their cost of collection is about 1 % of taxes collected. I really don't know any entity or any local government who can do that kind of job for 1 % of taxes collected. A lot of ideas were brought up today. I'll be talking with Angie and going over some of these other things where RITA can be of assistance to us. That's all I've got tonight. Thank you. Council President Schutt stated, thank you, Mayor. Comments From Council President Schutt I'd just like to remind everyone that our Caucus meeting for July will be held on July 7`n. The next Regular Meeting of Council is scheduled for July 21 S` I also want to echo the Mayor's compliments to the Parks and Recreation Department, Police and Fire Departments and our Service Department and volunteers. As she mentioned, it was an excellent Cruise Night. There were quite a few in attendance. There were quite a few cars. It was great to see everyone out and about, especially with the rough start of the morning. Shane and I were texting in the morning and he's like, I know it's on. It's going to stop raining. He had it dialed in well and the rain stopped when we were hoping it would. That was good. Thanks everyone for that. Also, since our next Caucus meeting is on July 7`n. Since we won't be meeting before Independence Day, I hope everyone has a happy and safe Independence Day as well as our Independence Day Celebration that is on Saturday, June 281n. I don't want to try again to go to this person, that person and the next person because I tried it before and it didn't work. Mayfield kind of let me down twice. It's really bad this time. The first episode Mayfield let my other neighbor put stormwater on my property. Every rainfall I get it with no help from Mayfield. What I am trying to do now is get help and if I can't get help at least I can say I tried. I had another neighbor until recently, 27 years,
