Traczyk, and unanimously approved. <br />3) Drug Mart, 24485 Lorain Road <br />Proposal to construct an addition (for storage) on rear of building. <br />Heard by Architectural Board of Review June 17, 1987. <br />Mr. Giesser, attorney, explained that the Architectural Board had <br />suggested using a techinical type etched bl:ock with impregnated paint <br />instead of attempting to match the existing brick work. The Commission <br />had no problem with the proposal. M. Betts moved to approve this proposal <br />from Drug T1art at 24485 Lorain Road for the constructiori of an addition <br />on the rear of their building subject to the conditions spelled out by <br />the Architectural Review Board relating to the facing brick product as <br />outline in the minutes of the Architectural Review Board of June 17th, <br />seconded by R. Bierman, and unanimously approved. <br />4) Cheradon Plaza III, southeast corner of Dover Center Rd. and Brookpark Ext. <br />Proposal to change exterior material on proposal previously approved by <br />Planning Commission on March 24, 1987. Heard by Architectural Board of <br />Review June 17, 1987, <br />Mr, DiBenedetto explained that the building was previously approved with <br />brown brick on the front columns and sides with white split fact-a block <br />on the rear.. He is now requesting to use•the white split face block on <br />the entire building. He stated that this would look better than h aving <br />two di.fferent materials on the building and pointed out this is the <br />s.ame material-as is on the Fretters-bnilding-which is on the other side <br />of his shopping center,- This building will be set forward from the <br />other two stores and he explained that it will have a gabled roof instead <br />of a flat roof as the other stores have. This building will be located <br />appro.ximately 150 fe.et. from the existing building. Proposal was explained <br />to MrsR Rordish, a-member of.the audience. Commission has no objection <br />to the spYit face b 1ock.. M. Betts moved to approve this request for <br />Cheradon P1aza-III, southeast corner of Dover Center Road and Brookpark <br />Extension, as submitted, seconded by E. Traczyk, and unanimously approved. <br />5) Store,It-Iiere, southside of Lorain RoadF west of McKenzie Road. <br />Revised proposal to construct a self service storage building. Withdrawn <br />from Planning Cpmmission June 9, 1987. <br />D. Neff, engineer, presented revised plans. Building has been shortened <br />by approximately 20 feet and center buildings ha've been placed closer <br />together in order to place r;ear drive entirely on property zoned General <br />Retail, The lot'is heavily wooded at present and the length of the 3 <br />foot high landscape mound has been increased in order to buffer the <br />adjacent residential property. The center building is two stories, <br />approximately 18 feet high with a hipned roof, the two outer.buildings <br />are about 8 to 9-feet high and have metal decked roofs with some pitch. <br />Mr. Bierman stated that the plans are not complete since the elevations <br />are of the offiee only. Mr. Neff explained that the storage b uildings <br />are pre,engineered metal building-and there are rear and front elevations <br />on the plan. --At this time they are iooking for preliminary approval and
