NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDIVISIONS:
1) Columbia Village Phase III, water main easements.
The proposal is to vacate an existing water main easement and to grant
two (2) additional water main easements to the City of North Olmsted and
the City of Cleveland for the purpose of providing water service for
Columbia Village Phas.e III (Carlton Park) located north off Lorain Road,
west of Columbia Road on.permanent parcel no. 231-36-12.
City Engineer Cesen explained that the easements, vacation, and descrip-
tions have been verified. Mr. Skenzich, construction manager for Carlton
Park Apartments, explained that the agenda item was incorrect, that they
are actually vacating 2 water main easements and requesting one additional
one to service Carlton Park. He further advised that this proposal would
have no adverse effect on water pressure and might improve it. B. Gorris
moved to approve the proposal to vacate two (2) existing water main ease-
ments and to grant one (1) additional water main easement to the City of
North Olmsted and the City of Cleveland for the purpose of providing
water service for Columbia Village Phase III (Carlton Park) located north
off Lorain Road, west of Columbia Road on permanent parcel no. 231-36-12;
and it is this Commission's understanding.that the granting of this will
have no adverse effect on water pressure, but quite contrary if anything,
might increase the water pressure, seconded by E.
