R. Gomersall moved to grant the <br />request for a 23.05 square foot variance for sign area for Keith Jewelers, <br />26117 Great Northern Shopping Center, seconded by J. Request variances to replace faces iri existing <br />pole sign: second pole sign on pronerty; location of pole sign (6 foot ericroach- <br />ment into right of way): and 62.36 square foot variance for total sign area. <br />Violation of Ord, 87-93, Section 1163:06(d), (f)-4 and (b)-4. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board: The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Klinger, representing Christie's. Mr. Remmel observed <br />that this is a small property with two pole signs. Mr. Klinger explained that <br />the sign had been there for years and he merely wants to change the faces. <br />Mr. Conway advised that if the name was not being chariged no variance would <br />have been required. Mr. Klinger stated he could not afford to move the sign <br />so he probably would have to change the name back to the original. J. Helon <br />moved to grant the reqest to replace faces in existing pole sign; for a second <br />pole sign on property; for the location of nole sign (6 foot encroachment into <br />right of way; and for a 62.36 square foot variance for total sign area for <br />Christie's Pub, seconded by R. Bugala. Roll call on motion: Helon, Bugala, <br />Gomersall, and Remmel, no. Motion failed to pass. Variance denied.
