Request 30 square foot variance and location <br />variance for existing tool shed. (Existing shed was repaired and re-sided in <br />1986). Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.02(d). <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. and TZrs. Zahn, and Mr. Shannon, a neighbor, who voiced <br />no objection to the request. Members had no questions. J. Helon moved to <br />grant the variance to Daniel and Peggy Zahn, 4114 Ashton Circle, for a 30 <br />square foot variance and a location variance for an existing tool shed, <br />seconded by T. Restifo, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />S. Thomas and Angeline Danzey, 5873 Burns Road <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 8.foot variance for distance between <br />addition and neightiors detached garage (located at 5859 Burns). Violation of <br />Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.02-(c)1. <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />.administered to Mr, and Mrs. Danzey and Mrs. Russell, the neighbor at 5873 Burns <br />whose garage is 12 feet away from the proposed addition. In response to the <br />Board's questions, Mr. Conway advised that fire proofing on.the addition.would <br />not be of a great help, but he pointed out that the 12 foot was measured on the <br />diagonal, and a f ire usually runs square to the structure going through the <br />openings of a building and out; he does.not believe that this would be much <br />of a problem. Mrs. Danzey stated that they.prefer to firewall the addition <br />for their own safety. T. Restifo moved to grant the request for an 8 foot <br />variance between addition and neighbors detached garage for the Danzey family <br />at 5873 Burns Road, seconded by J. Helon, and unanimously approved. Variance <br />granted. • <br />9. Richard H. Moran, 4650 Dover Center Rd. <br />Request for variance (_1123.12). Request 93 foot front set back variance to <br />construct attached garage; and request 1,554 foot variance for garage area for <br />new garage and to keep existing 2 story garage (to be relocated to rear of <br />property). Violation of Orda 87-93, Section 1135.06(a) and 1135.02(c)-1. Also <br />request special permit to add.to nonconforming dwelling (front set back). <br />Special permission required Ord. 87-93, Section 1165.02. <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Moran and Mr. Mongello, architect, who explained that the <br />attached garage would have two .16 foot garage doors (standard height) and that <br />part of the 4 car garage would be used for storage. The existing detached <br />garage will be relocated to the rear of the pronerty but the exact location <br />has not been determined.
