Special permission required Ord. 87-93, Section 1165.02. <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Heppler and Mr. Davies, contractor. Board had no questions. <br />Mr. Bugala noted that since the garage was a masonry material no fire retardant <br />would be necessary. J. Helon moved to grant the request for a 6 foot variance <br />for distance between addition and garage and also the special permit to add <br />solarium and dormer to non-conforming dwelling for Mr. and Mrs. Stark Heppler, <br />2801 West 230th Street, seconded by T. Restifo, and unanimously approved. <br />Variance and special permit granted. <br />4. Barbara L. Humphrey, 5640 Columbia Road <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 42 foot rear yard variance to add to <br />attached garage. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.08(a). Also request <br />special permit to add to non-conforming dwelling. Special permission required <br />Ord. 87-93, Section 1165.02. <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mrs. Humphrey. Piro Bugala stated that even though the variance <br />is large, this situation is unusual on the back corner. R. Gomersall moved to <br />grant the request for a 32 foot rear yard variance to add to an attached <br />garage and also a special permit to add to a non-conforming dwelling for <br />Barbara L. Humphrey, 5640 Columbia Road, seconded by J. Helon, and unanimously. <br />approved. Variance and special permit granted. •- <br />5. John Polcha, 3894 Clague Road <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request location variance for shed. Violation <br />of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.02(d). <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Polcha and his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Straus. <br />It was verified that the shed would only be 8 feet high and that the old shed <br />would be removed. J. Helon moved to grant the request for a location variance <br />for a tool shed for John Polcha, 3894 Clague Road, seconded by T. Restifo, and <br />unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />6. Daniel Gaul, 5609 Columbia Road <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request front set back variance (over 70 feet) <br />to add to non-conforming dwelling (front set back). Violation of Ord. 87-93, <br />Section 1135.06(a). Also request variance to delay construction of garage. <br />Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1161.08(a)-1. Also request special permit to <br />add to and alter non-conforming dwelling. Special permission required by <br />Ord. 87-93, Section 1165.02. <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Gaul who advised that the garage would be built within the <br />year. Mr. Conway stated that the garage normally should be completed at the <br />time the occupancy permit is issued. The members agreed that one year after <br />occupancy would be satisfactory. R. Gomersall moved to grant the request for <br />a set back variance to add to a non-conforming dwelling, a variance to delay <br />construction of the garage until one year after the date of occupancy, and <br />also a special permit to add to and alter a non-conforming dwelling for
