In reference to the need for <br />sidewalks and traffic circulation in this area because of the current <br />renovations, Mr. Papandreas explained that studies are b?ing made by <br />their consultants, Barton Ashman, to review both pedestrian and vehicular <br />traffic to ascertain that all issues have been addressed. He further <br />explained that the entire plaza is to be renovated in 1990 and the site <br />work will be included with this renovation; resurfacing the parking lot, <br />defining the ring road, installing sidewalks, crosswalks, curbs, and <br />landscaping. This plan will be presented to the Commission in the near <br />future. Mr. Morgan suggested that the approval of this unit should be <br />presented with the proposed site renovationse Mr. Papandreas preferred <br />to complete this unit in conjunction with the Applebee's proposal, but <br />advised that he would present these plans to the Commission before July. <br />Mr. Morgan had no problem with approving this, but he would like a <br />definite time table. A4r. Papandreas agreed that he could present the <br />plan for just this area at the next meeting. He further clarified that <br />the awning on the unit was not going to be pink as it might appear on the <br />colored rendering, it would be a rust color. He further advised that <br />unit 2C, shown on the plan, will not be presented until later and was <br />included merely to give the Commission an idea of what is planned. T. <br />Morgan moved that unit 2B as presented tonight by Biskind Development <br />Company, Great Northern Plaza North, be referred to the Architectural <br />Review Board, and again stipulating that tl-ie developer provide to the <br />Planning Commission the pedestrian traffic pattern for this area, seconded <br />by B. Gorris, and unanimously approved. <br />IV. NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDIVISIONS: <br />1) Carla Lane Lot Split <br />The proposal is to subdivide permanent parcel no. 231=1-7, located at <br />the northeast corner of Walter Road and Carla Lane, and the present site <br />of the Bible Presbyterian Church of North Olmsted, into two (2) parcles. <br />Zoning is "C" Residence, single, entirely, and both proposed parcels <br />conform to the Zoning Code requirements. <br />This proposal was withdrawn from the agenda by the representative and <br />will be heard at the next meeting. <br />V. COMMTJNICATIONS: <br />No items. <br />VI. COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Mr.Gorris advised that the Planning Review Committee will be meeting next <br />Wednesday January 17th. <br />Mr. Betts will be meeting with his committee at 7:00 p.m. January 23rd. <br />VII. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Mrm Bierman pointed out that the Star Lounge again had a star on their mansard <br />as a Christmas decoration, and questioned hoca long they could continue to
