? <br />Home Centers 25801 Lorain Road. <br />Request for variance 1123.12 . Request 22 square foot variance for total <br />sign area..to install ground sign. Violation of Ordo 87-93, Section 1163.04. <br />Continued from meeting of October 3, 1990. <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Ms. McBride, sign contractor, and Mr. Hathaway, representing <br />Home Centers, who presented a plot plan showing that this sign will be placed <br />where the existing Bob E?rans sign is now, and the Bob E?rans sign will be <br />relocated to the west side of the drive. The members had no problem with this <br />request. J. Helon moved to grant the variance for Home Centers at 25801 <br />Lorain Road for a 22 square foot variance for total sign area to install a <br />ground sign, seconded by B. Gomersall, and Lmanimously approved. Variance <br />granted. <br />1. Vern and Lauren Erchenbrecher 24107 Ambour Drive. <br />Request for va'rianee (1123.12). Request variance to keep existing 5 foot <br />fence parti.ally around pool (new 6 foot fence installed around the remainder <br />of pool area). Also request 3 foot 4 inch side yard variance for pool. (Fence <br />and pool are installed. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.02-1. <br />Chairman Bugala caTled all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to'Mr. Erchenbrecher who explained that the 5 foot fence was <br />there when they bought the house and they added the 6 foot portion after the <br />pool was installed. R. Gomersall moved to grant the request of Vem and <br />Lauren Erchenbrecher, 24107 Ambour Drive for the variance to keep the existing <br />5 foot fence partially around pool, and also the 3 foot 4 inch side yard <br />variance for the pool, secondeci by J. Helon, ancl unanimously approved. <br />Variance granted. <br />2. R-A-G Custom Homes Inc. S/L 1 Tara-Lynn Dr. <br />Request for varianee (1123.12). Request 5.4 foot side yard variance to <br />construct a new dwelling. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.07. <br />3. R-A-G Custom Homes Inc. S/L 1 Bretton Rid e Dr. <br />Request for variance 1123.12 . ltequest variance to have temporary trailer on <br />property to be used as a sales and work office. Violation.of Ord. 87-93, <br />Section 1135:02. <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Greco, contractor, and Mr. Throne, salesman. In reference <br />to their first request, Mr. Bugala pointed out that this is a corner lot and <br />does not abut any property. The members had no questions on the request. B. <br />Grace moved to grant the request of R-A-G Custom Homes, Inc., S%L 1 Tara Lynn <br />Drive for a 5.4 foot side yard variance to construet a new dwelling, seconded <br />by T. Restifo, and tmanimously approved. Variance granted. In reference to <br />the second request Mr. Greco explained that he only needed this until he <br />constructs his model horr,e which would be approximately 6 to 9 months from <br />today. He requested that the trailer location be changed to sublot 2 because <br />the model home will be built on sublot l. He presented pictures of the <br />trailer which he used previously. It was clarified that this should be a <br />special permit not a variance as written. B.. Grace moved to approve the <br />request of R-A-G Custom Homes, sublot 2 Bretton Ridge Drive for a special <br />permit to have a temporary trailer on the property to be used as a sales and <br />2
