Special permission required Ord.90-125, Section 1165.02(b). <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Gerome, contractor, who clarified that the garage is block <br />construction so no fire wall will be required. B. Purper moved to grant the <br />request for variance for Barry E. Paden 23831 Maple Ridge Road, a 4 foot 6 inch <br />variance for distance between existing garage and addition; a 34 square foot <br />variance for building area exceeding 20% of rear yard area; a 13 foot 8 inch rear <br />yard variance for addition and a special permit to add to a non-conforming <br />dwelling, seconded by J. Maloney, and unanimously approved. Variances granted. <br />8. William Je Tanruther., 24761 Arlington Lane. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 11 foot 11 inch rear yard variance to <br />construct patio enclosure. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.08(a). <br />' :^hairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Tanruther. The members had no problem with the request. B. <br />Grace moved to grant the request for a variance for William J. Tanruther, 24761 <br />Arlington Lane, for an 11 foot, 11 inch rear yard variance to construct patio <br />enclosure, seconded by Gomersall; and tmanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />9. Egghead Software, 24942 Lorain Road. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request variance to install insert on existing <br />prohibited pole sign and also a 15 foot variance for excess sign area over <br />maximinn allowed for a business umit. Violations of Ord. 90-125, Sections <br />1163.22(a) and 1163.11(c). Variance was granted previously on September 2, 1992. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mrs. Kate, the sign contractor, who explained that she was not <br />aware that a permit.was needed to replace a panel in an existing pole sign. She <br />lazows the pole sign will have to be removed later. J. Maloney moved to grant the <br />request for Egghead Software, 24942 Lorain Road, for a variance to install insert <br />on existing prohibited pole sign and a 15 foot variance for excess sign area over <br />maximum allowed for a business tmit with the imderstanding that the pole sign has <br />to be removed by January 1,..-1998, seconded by R. Gomersall, and unanimously <br />approved. Variances grantede <br />10. R. & N. Gumke, 5789 Wellesley Ave. Request for variance (1123.12). Request 2 foot side yard variance to construct <br />patio enclosure. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.07. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Sherry, contractor, who explained that they could not conform <br />because the patio door could not be moved. There was no problem with the request. <br />B. Grace moved to grant a request of R. M. Gumke, 5789 Wellesley Avenue, for a 2 <br />foot side yard variance to construct a.patio enclosure, seconded by J. 14aloney, <br />and unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />11. R: Creadon & M. Shields, s/1 133-134 Broxbourne Road. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 1,938 square foot variance to construct <br />two attached garages on new dwelling. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section <br />1135.02(c)(3). Previous request denied on Noveriber 5, 1992. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the Board.
