Request 186 square foot variance for area and 6.5 <br />foot height variance to construct detached garage the variance requested is based on <br />the existing attached ga.rage being converted to living area within 1 year. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Wootten who explained tha.t he was requesting the height variance <br />in order to have a gambrel roof iaith a storage area on the upper level. Half of the <br />area of the existing attached garage is being used as a utility room. Mr. Grace <br />suggested that the existing shed be removed. Mr. Gomersall stated that they have a <br />huge yard and considering their location he would not have as much of a problem with <br />the height as he normally would. R. Gomersall moved to grant the request of Timothy <br />Wootten, 23700 Gessner, for a 186 square foot variance for area and 6.5 foot height <br />variance to construct a detached garage: This variance request is based on the <br />existing attached being converted to living space within one year, and conditional <br />upon the removal of the existing shed, seconded by B. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Jackson who advised the shed would be 10 by 12 feet. He is going <br />to use part of it for a work shop. The members had no problems with the request. B. <br />Grace moved to grant the request of Robert R. Jackson, 4508 Coe Ave. for a 58 square <br />foot variance for a shed, seconded by R. Request 24.5 foot rear yard variance to construct <br />patio awning. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.08(a). <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to N1r. Armbruster and Mr. Sindelar, contractor. It was explained that <br />this this would be for an awning onlya Building Commission Conway stated that if <br />this is granted, he would not have a problem issuing a permit to enclose this area <br />as long as it did not encroach beyond the boundaries of the awning, and he believed <br />the Board should look at this as if it might be enclosed at a later date. R. <br />Gomersall moved to grant the request of Mr. and Mrs. 12ichard Armbruster at 4505 Qak <br />circle for a 24.5 foot rear ya`rd variance to construct a patio awning seconded by B. <br />Grace, and tmanimously approved.
