The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Rebel. Mr. Gomersall noted that if the shed were moved forward <br />it would be over the sprinkler system and the shed behind them was only 5 feet from <br />the line. The members had no problem with the request. R. Gomersall moved to grant <br />to Rion and Jean Rebel, their request for a 5 foot rear set back variance to <br />install a shed, seconded by T. Request variance to install swimming pool and deck <br />which exceeds the 20% limitation of rear yard coverage by 212.15 square feet. <br />Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.02(d)2. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Incorvaia. Mr. Gomersall commented that the lot was wide, the <br />deck was 20 feet from the neighbors, and the property to the rear was retail. The <br />members had no problem with the request. W. Request variance to use prohibited pole sign. <br />Violatian of Ord. 90-125, Section 1163.22(a). <br />Chairman Gomersall ca.lled all interested parties before the board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Kub, sign contractor, who explained that the owner had <br />considered lowering the sign so it would conform, but then the setback would not <br />conform. Building Commissioner Conway explained tha.t, even though the location of <br />the sign is non-conforming, no variance would be necessary for location since pole <br />signs are prohibited and there are no guidelines for location. Mr. Kub stated that <br />they are aware that the sign will ha.ve to be removed, and the awner believes that <br />once the restaurant is lmown a pole sign will not be needed. J. Ma.loney moved to <br />grant the request for Khan's Cuisine, 23135 Lorain Road, for a variance to use a <br />prohibited poles sign with the stipulation that the sign must be removed by January <br />1, 1998, seconded R.
