<br />for distance between dwellings to construct enclosed porch and second floor <br />dormer addition and to grant a special permit to add to a non-conforming dwelling <br />and that the east wall shall be.either a solid wall or have fixed pane window, <br />seconded by R. Gomersall, and unanimously approved. <br />10. Raymond Stephenson, 28697 Spruce Drive. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 9 foot rear yard variance to construct <br />family room. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.08(a). <br />Chaixman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Stephenson. The members had no problems with the request and <br />a letter was received from the neighbor to the rear stating that he had no <br />objection to the proposal. B. Grace moved to grant the request of R. Stephenson, <br />28697 Spruce Drive for a 9 foot rear yard variance to construct a family room, <br />seconded by R. Gomersall, and l,nanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />11. Michael J. Grealis, 24377 Maria Lane.. <br />Request for variance (1123.12)o Request 60 square foot variance to construct <br />shed which will exceed the permitted 20% coverage of rear yard area. Also request <br />4 foot, 9 inch set back variance from rear property for location. Violation of <br />Ord. 90-125, Sections 1135.02(d)(2) and 1135.02(d)4. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interes.ted garties before the board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. and Mrs. Grealis, and Mr. Angle, who lives to the rear. Mr. <br />Grealis explained that the shed would be 2 foot from the fence and he presented <br />pictures of it. Mr. Angle had no objection to the request. R. Gomer sall moved to <br />grant to Michael J. Grealis, 24377 Maria Lane, 60 foot square foot variance over <br />the 20% maximtun allowed and also the 4 foot, 9 inch setback variance from the <br />rear property line for location of the shed, seconded by W. Purper, and <br />unanimously approved. Variances granted.. <br />12. Jim Donelan. 3877 Eleanor Dr. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 34 square foot variance to install deck <br />which will exceed the permitted 20% coverage of the rear yard area. Violation of <br />Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.02(d)(2). <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Donelan. The deck is installed and the members agreed that it <br />looked good. W. Purper moved to grant the 34 square foot variance for a deck <br />which will exceed the 20% coverage of the rear yard area, seconded by B. Grace, <br />and tmanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />13. Sunnyside Mazda, 26890 Lorain.Road. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request variance to use prohibited pole sign. <br />Also request variance to have second free standing sign on site (one permitted). <br />Violation of Ord. 90-125, Sections 1163.22 and 1163.12(b). <br />Chainnan Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Galina, sign contractor, who explained that there is a <br />temporary covering over the existing sign, that is not the permanent signa They <br />are merely changing the Suzuki sign to read Mazda. Chairman Gomersall advised <br />that the sign would have to come down by Dececnber 31, 1997. J. Maloney moved to <br />grant to Sunnyside Mazda a variance to use a prohibited pole sign, and a variance <br />to have a second free standing sign on site (one permitted) until December 31, <br />1997, and also with the stipulation that the size of the faces remain.the same <br />and it is to be noted that the second free standing sign is on the property at <br />present, seconded by B. Grace, and approved. Variance granted. <br />C:
