The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Moore. The members had seen the property. He advised that the <br />neighbors on either side had storage sheds. F.e explained that there is a fence <br />just before the property drops off and he is going to extend the fence back so he <br />can maintain the property in the rear. R. Gomersall moved to grant the request to <br />Walter Moore, 6144 Bellevue Drive, for a 20 square foot variance for area <br />exceeding the permitted 2% of rear yaxd area to construct a shed and to grant an <br />8 foot rear yard and 3 foot side yard variance for location of shed, seconded by <br />J. Maloney and tmanir.iously approved. Variances granted. <br />10. Timoth and Lisa Becka ro ert located north of 6017 Decker Road. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 6 foot front setback variance; request 3 <br />foot total side yard vaxiance;and request 3 foot side yard variance to construct <br />dwelling. Violations of Ord. 90-125, Sections 1135.06(a), and 1135.07(a). Also <br />request 5 foot rear yard variance to construct detached garage. Violation of Ord. <br />90-125, Section 1135.02(c)(2). Permission to build on a 40 foot wide lot was <br />granted by the Board of Building Code Appeals for this same house on 3/28/89 and <br />still applies. Variances granted by the Board of Zoning Appeals 3/6/91 have <br />expired. <br />Chairman Gomersall ca.lled a11 interested parties before the board. Zhe oath was <br />administered to Mr. and Mrs. Beckao Mr. Becka explained that they did ask for <br />these variances before to build a new house, however, they were unable to sell <br />their present home, which has now sold. This house is exactly the same the one <br />presented previously. Mr. Conway explained that the porch was originally extended <br />out 4 foot and now it is 6 feet wide and also that the code has changed regarding <br />garages since the original hearing. 7he members had no problem with the request. <br />J. Maloney moved to grant to Timothy and Lisa Becka, property located north of <br />6017 Decker Road, to grant their request for a 6 foot front setback variance, a 3 <br />foot total side yard variance, and 3 foot side yard variance to construct a <br />dwelling. Also to grant a 5foot rear yard variance to construct detached garage, <br />seconded by R. Gomersall, and unani.mously approved. Variances granted. <br />11. Delores M. SnellY, 4713 Grace Road.. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 3 foot, 6 incn side line variance and 6 <br />inch total side yard variance to construct deck. Violation of Ord. 90-125, <br />Section 1135.07(a). <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was <br />administered to Mrs. Snelly and Mr. Adamescu, representing the architect. There <br />was no objection to this request. Mr. Conway requested a condition to the <br />variance that no roof would be installed since if a roof would be in the side <br />yard adjacent to the next home. T1rs. Snelly stated that the existing awning will <br />be removed. T. Koberna moved to grant the request of Delores Snelly, 4713 Grace <br />Road, for a 3 foot, 6 inch side line variance and a 6 inch total side line <br />variance to construct a deck with the condition that this deck shall remain open <br />at all times with no roof over it and the current awning over the deck shall be <br />taken off, seconded by J. Nlaloney, and unanimously approved. Variances granted. <br />12. Douglas and Betty Dimond, 24180 Palm Drive <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 5.7 foot rear yard variance to construct <br />an addition. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.08(a).
