<br />Chainnan Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was administered to <br />1VIr. and Mrs. Palley. The members had no problem with the request. T. Koberna moved to grant a <br />request for Mr. and Mrs. Palley, 23062 MacBeth Road, for a 7 foot rear yard variance to <br />construct a patio enclosure, seconded by J. Maloney, and unanimously approved. Variance <br />granted. <br />6. Bruce and Carol Pearson, 26994 Butternut Ridge Rd• <br />Request for variauce (1123.12). Request 370 square foot area variance and 2 foot height variance <br />to construct detached garage. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.02(c)(1). Note: existing <br />garage will be demolished. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was aduiinistered to <br />Mr. and Mrs. Pearson who clarified that the garage will be 40 by 28 foot with a 10 foot wide door <br />in order to store his 21 foot boat and trailer. There were no neighbors present and he stated that <br />he had talked to his neighbor aud another neighbor had a larger garage. He will be removing the <br />existing garage. It was noted that the lot is 292 feet.deep. J. Maloney moved to granx the request <br />of Bruce and Carol Pearson, 26994 Butternut Ridge Road, for a 370 square foot area variance <br />and a 2 foot height variance to construct a detached garage with the notation that the existiug <br />garage will be demolished, seconded by R. Gomersall, and unanimously approved. Variance <br />granted. <br />7. Daniel Geig;er, 3477 Walter Road. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request variance for distance between enclosed deck (already <br />constructed) and garage. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.02(C)(2). <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was administered to <br />Mr. Geiger. The deck has been constructed and Mr. Geiger advised that the garage was not <br />fireproofed. Building Commissioner Conway explained that a fire rated dry wall was required on <br />the inside of the garage witlun 15 feet area of the deck. Mr. Geiger asked if he could use <br />something more durable than dry wall, such as fire rated plywood. Mr. Conway explained that <br />there was a fire treated plywood and with the limited amount of area where this was needed, he <br />believed that the fire retardant plywood would be sufficient. R. Gomersall moved to grant to <br />Daniel Geiger, 3477 Walter Road his request for a 4 foot variance for distance between the <br />enclosed deck and the garage, conditional upon the insEallation of fire retardant sheet plywood on <br />the inside of the garage up to a distance of 15 foot from the enclosed deck, seconded by J. <br />Maloney, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. 8. Church of St. Clarence, 30106 Lorain Rd. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). request variance to have search light for annual festival7une 17 <br />through June 19th. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1163.12(a). ' <br />Chairma.n Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was administered to <br />Mrs. Weiskettle, representing the church. Mr. Gomersall stated that he had no problem with it, <br />but it should be stipulated that it must be turned off at a certain time. Mrs. Weiskettle advised <br />that the festival has to close at 11:00 p.m. so they assumed that the light would have to be off at <br />3
