<br />3. Dry Clean USA 26628 Lorain Road. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request variance to have second wall sign also request <br />65 square feet of excess signage for a business unit. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Sections <br />1163.12(a) aud 1163.11(c). <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Kelleher, sign contractor. Nlr. Gomersall noted that the correct <br />address should be 26628, not 26625 as shown on the agenda. Mr. Kelleher stated that <br />originally they wanted a pylon or pole sign, but because the site was cluttered, they <br />decided to install a second wall sagn. Both signs will by 3 by 18 feet, the old sign was <br />140 square feet and the new signs are 54 square feet each. Building Commissioner <br />Conway clarified that since there were two or three tenants in that building, they would <br />not be permitted to have a ground or a pylon sign for this occupancy. Mr. Kelleher <br />stated that they had suggested having one pylon sign with all the tenants on it, but the <br />other tenants did not agree. M. Boyle moved to grant the variance for Dry Clean <br />USA, 26628 Lorain Road to have a second wall sign and also a 65 square foot variance <br />for excess signage for a business unit. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1163.12(a) <br />and 1163.11(c). The motion was seconded by J. Maloney, and unauunously approved. <br />Variances granted. <br />4. Dennis Abahazi, 5715 Forest Ridge Dr. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 1 foot side yard variance to construct addition <br />, in rear ofproperiy. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.07(2). <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was <br />adininistered to Mr. and Mrs. Abahazi, and Mr. Szoradi, contractor. Mr. Gomersall <br />noted that the addition would be in line with the house. The members agreed that this <br />would be an improvement. T. Koberna moved to grant the request for 1 foot side yard <br />variance to construct an addition in rear ofproperiy. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section <br />1135.07(2). The motion was seconded by W. Purper, .and unanimously approved. <br />Variance granted. <br />5. Ma W. Stasi 6085 Fitch Road <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 8 foot front setback variance to replace and <br />enlarge front porch which has been demolished.. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section <br />1135.06(a). <br />Chairmau Gomersall called all . interested parties before the board. The oath was <br />admiuistered to Mr. and Mrs. Stasiuk. It was noted that several of his neighbors had <br />sent letters supporting his request. Mr. Gomersall believed that addition would be an <br />improvement. R. Gomersall moved to grant the request to Marly Stasiuk, 6085 Fitch <br />Road for an 8 foot front setback variance to replace and enlarge front parch which has <br />been demolished. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.06 (a). The motion was <br />seconded by J. Maloney, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />2
