3. Dry Clean USA 26628 Lorain Road. Request for variance (1123.12). Request variance to have second wall sign also request 65 square feet of excess signage for a business unit. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Sections 1163.12(a) aud 1163.11(c). Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was administered to Mr. Kelleher, sign contractor. Nlr. Gomersall noted that the correct address should be 26628, not 26625 as shown on the agenda. Mr. Kelleher stated that originally they wanted a pylon or pole sign, but because the site was cluttered, they decided to install a second wall sagn. Both signs will by 3 by 18 feet, the old sign was 140 square feet and the new signs are 54 square feet each. Building Commissioner Conway clarified that since there were two or three tenants in that building, they would not be permitted to have a ground or a pylon sign for this occupancy. Mr. Kelleher stated that they had suggested having one pylon sign with all the tenants on it, but the other tenants did not agree. M. Boyle moved to grant the variance for Dry Clean USA, 26628 Lorain Road to have a second wall sign and also a 65 square foot variance for excess signage for a business unit. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1163.12(a) and 1163.11(c). The motion was seconded by J. Maloney, and unauunously approved. Variances granted. 4. Dennis Abahazi, 5715 Forest Ridge Dr. Request for variance (1123.12). Request 1 foot side yard variance to construct addition , in rear ofproperiy. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.07(2). Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was adininistered to Mr. and Mrs. Abahazi, and Mr. Szoradi, contractor. Mr. Gomersall noted that the addition would be in line with the house. The members agreed that this would be an improvement. T. Koberna moved to grant the request for 1 foot side yard variance to construct an addition in rear ofproperiy. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.07(2). The motion was seconded by W. Purper, .and unanimously approved. Variance granted. 5. Ma W. Stasi 6085 Fitch Road Request for variance (1123.12). Request 8 foot front setback variance to replace and enlarge front porch which has been demolished.. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.06(a). Chairmau Gomersall called all . interested parties before the board. The oath was admiuistered to Mr. and Mrs. Stasiuk. It was noted that several of his neighbors had sent letters supporting his request. Mr. Gomersall believed that addition would be an improvement. R. Gomersall moved to grant the request to Marly Stasiuk, 6085 Fitch Road for an 8 foot front setback variance to replace and enlarge front parch which has been demolished. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.06 (a). The motion was seconded by J. Maloney, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. 2
