Grass will be planted behind the parking lot and the balance of.the rear property <br />will be left natural. Mr. Conway advised that the planning commission suggested some landscaping <br />along the drive, but it is still shown right ou the property line. Mr. Fortney explained that the drive will <br />also go to the proposed future parking. The fiont entrance will be for the handicapped spaces and <br />visitors. He explained that quite a few trucks were parked iu the rear yard of the house uext door, aud <br />if they do not clean it up after tlus is built, he will add evergreens. Mr. Zergott stated that he could do <br />that for his own protection, but he would like some landscaping, possibly a ground cover vine, across <br />the back where a lawn is called for. Mr. Fortney has talked with the forester about keeping as many of <br />the existiug trees iu the frout as possible. They will be installing a monument sign, and Mr. Zergott <br />suggested some landscaping arouud that. He further noted that the climbing Hydrangea would <br />eventually take over the building aud grab onto the brick possibly pulliug it off. He would like their <br />landscaper to revise the plans, taking into consideration the shade, his suggestions, and showing <br />additional evergreens. Iu reference to the ligliting, Mr. Fortney did not like the original plan, so they <br />will be presenting a new one with 42 iuch lugli bollards, tliree across the front and two in the back, <br />with lights over the doors, aud building lights ou the back. All lights will be on a timer. Mrs. ICrieger <br />and Mr. Gallagher believed that either inetal halide or low pressure sodium lights would be acceptable. <br />Mr. Zergott would like some landscaping around the poles, since there is little landscaping. Since the <br />forester has reviewed the plans, Mr. Zergott would like a copy of his report. Mr. Yager believed that <br />tlus building will blend in with the woods. He wondered about the absorption of this type of brick and <br />suggested that they take that into consideration. 1VIr. Fortuey stated that this is their home and since <br />they will be bringing clients to it, he intends to make it a showplace. If they need a dumpster, they will <br />put it in the back in an enclosure on a concrete pad. M. Yager moved accept the plans as submitted by <br />Fortney and Weygandt with the following conditions: that a revised lighting plan be submitted that <br />shows the style, type, and quality of lighting for the facility; a revised landscape plan that includes the <br />light bollards, the siguage in the fi-ont be submitted, and ask that the landscaper look at the material <br />that he has chosen to make sure it is conducive to the site as far as shade, light, and to indicate the <br />amount of the evergi•een.to be vicluded; that the forester's report should be submitted to the planning <br />commission; and if a dumpster is provided, approval is coutingent upon an enclosure and submitting it <br />to the Building Departmeut. The motion was seconded by T. Gallagher, and unanimously approved. <br />1VIi.
