,, ..,
was that he coutrolled both sites and would be building both of them together. He does not kuow when
he made the promise, but he was denied the rezoning and that could have made the difference. One of
the neighbors suggested that the minutes be reviewed, and it could be detei7nined when it was made.
Mr. Sheehe stated that the people he represents do not own the commercial property and can only
address their own property. Mrs. Spaulding asked if there were some procedure by which it could be
stated in writing so that it would be known who would be responsible for these items. She uoted that
there is now just grass where landscaping had been promised. She did not believe all the issues could
be covered this evening and would like everything in black and white so the residents would have some
recourse down the road. Mr. Hickey, a resident, wanted to emphasize the traffic problem since it is
impossible to make a left turn onto Clague Road and he would like a traffic study. He asked that the
members drive up Sharon to Woodview and see the condition of the streets. He believed that, if they
drive heavy equipment up and down the streets, there would be no streets left and the tax payers would
pay for it. Ms. Laurence also has a problem with snow removal since frequently the snow removal did
not go beyond Tree Lane, and she also mentioned that the black top was not extended past her home
aud half of another. She caunot get the city to come down and fill in the chuck holes. She wauts
everyone to know that these problems should be taken care of before they become a more expensive
project. Mr. Tallon suggested that she talk with Councilmau Lind who is present. Mr. Spaulding advised
that when he was on plauiuug commission they got written commitments from developers as to what
would happen. He believed that should be done with the new developer. Also he would like some traffic
control at Clague Road so there is some protection during the time that construction is going on. Mr.
Tallon asked if there were any plans to landscape the retention area shown only as block "A" on these
plans. Mr. Sheehe noted that there were only plans to seed the area. Mr. Tallon would like to continue
this until the next meeting so the members can study the previous minutes. R'Tallon moved to table the
Bridgeport Development until the next meeting, seconded by T. Brennan, and unauunously approved.
V.
