Request 42 foot side yard variance for building from east property <br />line; request 20 foot set back variance for parking and/or drive; request variance to have cooking <br />_ facilities in lodging unit; request 27 square foot variance for 19 units and a 20 square foot variance for <br />• 1 unit. Violations of Ord. 90-125, Sections 1149.04c; 1149.04d; and 1139.06. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was adininistered to Mr. <br />Johnson, Mr. Corsi, and Mr. & Mrs. Pritchard. Mr. Johnson explained the four variances, three of <br />which were sent before the plauving commission and approved. He stated that, due to a measuring <br />mistake, one additional variance which was not sent before planuing commission will be required. A <br />mounded, landscaped buffer will be installed on the rear of the property to shield the parking lot, as <br />plauving commission recommended. It was clarified the buffer would be subject to approval by the <br />arclutectural review board. The residents would like the landscaped buffer continued from technology <br />park. It was clarified the entire length of the property would be mounded. The residents looked at the <br />revised plan. It was explained the hotel will be built as close to the tech park building as possible. Mr. <br />Johnson stated the dumpster will be shielded by a fence. He will submit a revised landscaped <br />drawing. The members did not see a problem with this proposal. <br />M. Boyle moved to grant variances for Studio Plus Hotel, located on the south side of Country Club <br />Boulevard, east of the Victoria Plaza Apartments. Purper and unaniinously approved. Variances granted. <br />5) John Laki, 29407 Sutton Drive <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request variances to install shed: 167 square foot variance for area <br />of shed which exceeds 2% of the rear yard area; a 68 square foot variance for area which exceeds the <br />200 square foot maximuin area allowed; a 1.5 feet side yard variance for location of shed; and a 6.5 <br />feet rear yard variance for location of shed. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.02 (D). <br />Chainman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was aciinini.stered to Mrs. <br />Laki, who explained the proposal. Chau-mau Gomersall stated this proposal is to install a shed, but the <br />shed has already been installed. Mrs. Laki stated she forgot to apply for the permit. Mr. Maloney <br />asked if they plan on controlling the drainage. Mrs. Laki thought that a fence can be installed to <br />control the water. The members are willing to approve this proposal under the conditions that the <br />fence be mounded and a gutter installed on the shed draining the water away from the property line. <br />The members discussed the proposal among themselves. Assistaiat Building Commissioner Rymarczyk <br />explained, the business vans should not be parked in the driveway over night. Tlie board agreed to <br />make this a condition of the approval. Mrs. Laki agreed to the amendments. <br />J. Maloney moved to grant the amended agreed upon request of John Laki, 29407 Sutton Drive <br />Request for variance (1123.12).
