__I, <br />1135.02 (D). This proposal is approved under the condition that proper drainage away from the <br />neighbors properiy be accommodated in line with the building department requirements. The motion <br />was seconded by R. Gomersall and unanimously approved. Iu the framing of the motion Chairinan <br />Gomersall clarified that proper drainage shall be implemented and the trucks removed. Variance _ <br />granted. • <br />6) Pine Tree Beverage, 23239 Lorain Road. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request location variances for the following: <br />to have ground sign in 35 foot triangular area; a 3 foot location variance from front setback; <br />a 13 foot variance for side yard setbacks. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1163.12(b). <br />Pole sign for wluch variances were previously granted will not be installed. <br />Chairniau Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was administered to P. <br />Phalgoo. The board agreed to approve this sign as it is a significant improvement. , <br />W. Purper moved to grant the request of Pine Tree Beverage, 23239 Lorain Road. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). To grant location variances for the following: <br />to have ground sign in 35 foot triangular area; a 3 foot location variance from front setback; and <br />a 13 foot variance for side yard setbacks. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1163.12(b). <br />Pole sign for which variances were previously granted will not be installed. The motion was seconded <br />by T. Koberna and unauimously approved. Variance granted. <br />7) Rick Larson. 24261 Mastic Road. <br />Request special permit to add to side and rear of a non-conforming dwelling. Special permit required <br />Ord. 90-125, Section 1165.02(b)(1). Note: A variance was granted for an addition to this dwelling <br />on 10/4/78. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was administered to R. <br />Larson. Mr. Gomersall explained that there is a letter from Metroparks pertaining to tlus proposal. <br />He believed, however, these concerns did not pertain to Mr. Larson, because he is not 20 feet from the <br />boundary. <br />M. Boyle moved to grant the special permit of Rick Larson, 24261 Mastic Road, to add to side and <br />rear of a non-conforming dwelling. Special permit required Ord. 90-125, Section 1165.02(b)(1).' <br />Note: A variance was granted for an addition to this dwelling on 10/4/78. The motion was seconded <br />by W. Purper and u.nauunously approved. Special permit granted. <br />8) -Ali Hamdan, 23521 Stoneybrook Dr. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request variance to keep television antenna tower attached to <br />chimuey ou dwelling. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.02(g). • <br />REQUEST WITHDRAWN BY BUII.DING DEPARTMENT <br />9) Joby Pfeil, 22984 Macbeth Ave. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 2 foot side yard variance to construct deck. Violation of <br />Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.07(a). <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was aciministered to J. <br />Pfiel. The members had no problem with this proposal. <br />4
