Request for variance (1123.12). Request variance to iustall an individual tenant sigu on a non- <br />couforming ground sign. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1163.12 (H). Note: Referral to the <br />architectural review board is required for logo. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was administered to T. , <br />Santoro, who explained the proposal. Mr. Maloney thought that something should be worked out,, <br />with the neighboring Civita's, so that there is one sign for the entire property. Mr. Maloney pointed <br />out architectural review board approval will be required. 1VIr. Purper suggested they get the owner <br />of the property involved so that a possible agreement can be reached between the two teuants, as <br />tlus board would like one sign for both tenants. Mr. Santoro responded that he did not believe <br />Civita's would be willing to cooperate, as it would cost them additional money. He stated the sign <br />will have to be removed by 1998, as it is non-conforming. Mr. Maloney did not think tlus sign <br />would be affected, as it is not a pole sign. Assistant Building Commissioner Rymarczyk clarified <br />that all non-conforming signs, wluch includes tlus sigu, would have to be removed by 1998. The <br />members were in agreement that they are not going to allow this sign and suggested that Mr. <br />Santoro withdraw this proposal aud request that it be delayed until au agreement can be made <br />between the two tenauts. Mr. Santoro agreed to withdraw. <br />Chau-inan Gomersall moved to delay the proposal of State Farm Insurance Coinpany, 23889 Lorain <br />Road, to install an individual tenant sigu on a nou-conforming ground sign, until such time as an <br />agreement can be made between the two tenauts. The motion was seconded by W. Purper aud <br />uuanimously approved. Proposal withdrawu until further uotice. <br />5. Esther Springer, 23645 David Drive. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request variances to install shed: a 20 square foot variance for <br />area of shed which exceeds 2% of the rear yard area; a 4 foot rear setback variance to coustruct <br />shed on existing concrete pad, which is only 6 feet from the rear property line. Violatiou of Ord. <br />90-125, Sectiou 1135.02 (d 1) and (d4). Note: Shed will replace a shed built with a variance in <br />1971, wluch was destroyed in a storm. <br />Chairman Goinersall called all iuterested parties before the board.
