Gomersall is opposed to permitting .a storagebarn prior to the construction of the'dwelling. - Mr: Fox indicated there are several storage bams on various parcels throughout the city. The members <br />clarified they are not opposed to the shed, but will not allow it to be installed prior to the constiuction <br />of the home. <br />Chairman Gomersall moved to grant Chris Fox, sublot 1 Barton Road, NORTH of 6115 Barton Road, <br />a variance to construct an accessory building prior to construction of the dwelling. Violation of Ord. <br />90-125, Section 1135.02. Also to grant au 184 square foot variance for area of storage barn, which <br />exceeds the 200 square foot maximum allowed. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.02 (d-1). <br />The motion was seconded by M. Boyle. Roll call on motion: Gomersall, Boyle, Koberna, no. Purper, <br />yes. Variance denied. <br />6. Rini Rego Supermarket, 23100 Lorain Road. <br />No representative was present, the proposal was discussed further at the end of the meeting. <br />7. State Farm Insurance Companv, 23889 Lorain Road. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request variance to install an individual tenant sign on a non <br />conforming ground sign. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1163.12 (H). Note: Referral to the <br />arclutectural review board is required for logo. Continued from board of zoning appeals September <br />4, 1996. No revised plaus submitted, coutiuue until November 7, 1996. <br />8. Greg Theus, 5769 Fitch Road. <br />Request special permit to add to front of a non-conforming dwelling. <br />Special pernut required Ord. 90-125 Section 1123.11. Note: Total side yard is 10 feet (1Vlinunum <br />required is 15 feet) and a special permit was formerly approved March 2, 1983 to add to this <br />dwelling. <br />Chairmau Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was administered to Mr. <br />Theus, who noted the home was originally built in 1949. The members had no problem granting tlus <br />proposal. <br />W. Purper moved to grant Grreg Theus, 5769 Fitch Road, a special permit to add to front of a non- <br />conformiug dwelling. Special permit required Ord. 90-125 Section 1123.11. <br />Note: Total side yard is 10 feet (Nlinimum required is 15 feet) and a special permit was fonnerly <br />approved March 2, 1983 to add to tlus dwelling.
